Suffered a catastrophic injury to a hind leg after jumping the first flight in the 4.55 at Clonmel today. One circuit later the usual familiar scenes from Ireland. Horse with a swinging leg only held by his jockey, no screens (Ireland is not a poor country, they simply have nothing to hide) around the poor horse and no vet as well. If it wouldn`t be a matter of life and death one could find these scenes quite amusing. However not the poor horse.
They really deserve better treatment, especially when they have to run during the summer months on much firmer ground and hotter conditions. Why let the poor horse wait for so long???
    Disgusted again by Irish ignorance

Sadly, only the first of 5 at Clonmel yesterday. :(

    RIP, every one.
