Just realised lovely little Azamour isn’t on here. He died Grand National weekend, aged 13, an injury in his stable. A beautiful little terrier of a horse.
Saw him twice at Newmarket both times running 3rd to Haafhd in the 2000 Guineas and the Champion Stakes but gaining revenge before the latter in the St. James’s Palace at Royal Ascot.
He was a real little warrior and never gave up.
Sad to hear of his passing at home, they must have been devastated to lose him in this way after a fine career.
