I do think confusion and uncertainty are what makes these places tick. Davies himself adds to this confusion with some of his posts. gamble called him a profligate worder yesterday – but profligate infers waste and I will just state that none of his words are wasted. He was a marmite poster in the past but this is more power to his elbow. I rather fancy the treacly black stuff. He creates a lot of buzz and gamble writes only in his shadow.

My non avatar is rather unusual – it reminds me of a saint !Bette Davis had a 20 inch waist. Not quite as large as her eyes.

Whatever, it wouldn’t have been me, as although I do always dress impeccably and used to enjoy strutting about with a carefully folded copy of The Sporting Life under my arm, my abode is Shadowland: so, no shades but it is just the weather for dark glasses
