If anyone is interested Attheraces is starting it’s Stable Stars Jumps Competition, starting on
11/11/16 (entries for 1st week to be in by 9pm 10/11/16). There are various prizes, including
£8000 for the winner and monthly leader free bets of £150. It’s different from the Ten To Follow
competition in that it has to be chopped and changed weekly with transfers. We had a decent number
of entries from TRF, and as per last year I have created a private league for TRF, strangely enough
named TRF. The League Pin is 10274. I started it on this thread last year, but it was suggested I
shift it to the Racing Competitions thread. All the information is on that forum and I am happy to
do the odd reminder for transfers, a few did forget last year….no names no pack drill, and point
out when bonus races are coming up. I think our league did pretty well last year, I hope we can get
a good number again
You can enter the competition here….. http://www.stable-stars.com
November 1, 2016 at 12:18 #1269946Just a reminder for anyone considering having a go, 9 days left to enter a stable to
compete in the first week. Don’t worry about not putting your stable in until the
last day in case any horse is out for the season, or just that you might have a change
of heart…..you can change your stable as many times as you like prior to the cut off
point of 9pm Thursday 10/11/16. It would be great to have a good sized league
November 3, 2016 at 23:17 #12703871 Week until the competition starts. Free to enter and the smell of 10 grand is wafting all
the way to TRF. All welcome to throw their hat into the ring. ATR are now considering introducing
a private leagues table, if they can organise something in time. I think TRF would have done well
last year had a private leagues competition been part of the competition, hopefully we can have a
good say in it again this year
November 6, 2016 at 14:14 #12710584 Days until the competition starts, a few more in the TRF league would be very welcome
November 6, 2016 at 20:55 #1271110Jeez, Had Sceau Royal as my star horse for yesterdays race and they have yet to start the competition…..

November 6, 2016 at 22:13 #1271142Yep Nathan, I keep doing checks to see if any more entered, maybe a late surge is
on the cards. There’s decent money, and that aside it’s an interesting competition
with the weekly and monthly changes in your stable. If you keep Sceau Royal in, he might make a quick return in the Greatwood Hurdle
next week, he’s still down for that although I’d put him in the doubtful category.
My stable right now won’t reflect how it is on Thursday, I’ll make changes to include
who’s likely to run. That’s the secret for me, you have to think relatively short
term. Probably never happen again, but I did lead it after the first month last year,
the only month that didn’t have a prize, as it wasn’t a complete month
Hopefully more will take a chance and join in, but if not we will be fine running with
what he have.November 6, 2016 at 22:25 #1271149I entered days ago but don’t seem to be visible. The TRF league is in my “Private Leagues” and I’ve picked all my horses but it’s still not showing and I can’t figure out why
November 6, 2016 at 23:02 #1271154What date did you join Tonge…?
Looking at the table it could be the 1st 8 that joined on the 1st page and the rest are invisible or on a hidden page 2Charles Darwin to conquer the World
November 7, 2016 at 00:16 #1271158Tonge, perhaps you are one of the 8? When you’re in your stable, and you click on
“Private Leagues” your name alone will appear under “Overall Leader”, with the TRF sign
to the left of your name. I initially thought that was me in the private league, as when
you clicked on the the TRF emblem nothing happened and I was the only name appearing.
After a bit of consultation, they decided to open the individual league rooms prior to
the start of the competition. Nathan may well be right, maybe there is a further page
with other members yet to appear, but have you tried clicking on the TRF emblem once you
are in the private league room, it works now so you might then see yourself in the league.
Can I ask what the name of you stable is?November 7, 2016 at 18:41 #1271301Well that may be the problem because I submitted my stable without naming it (thinking I could edit it afterwards – which I don’t think I can). Therefore, it’s listed as “Catherine’s Stable” (which is fine by me unless it’s somehow stopping the league from recognising it, though I don’t see why that should be). I can see the list of 8 names and mine isn’t one of them! I may just try starting from scratch
November 7, 2016 at 19:19 #1271309Catherine, I think Nathan may have hit the nail on the head. Initially the competition was set up
so that the the private leagues would not show a list of competitors, within their private league,
until the competition started. This makes it difficult to know how big our league is, and after
contacting them about this issue we got this response …..” I spoke with the developers and the answer is that under the current code you won’t see the other players in your league until the competition is under way, however, we will try to change that over the next few days provided it’s not too complex – thank you for spotting it and raising it with me.”
Nathan suspected that there may be a 2nd, or hidden, page, and that might be the answer. They may have
made sufficient change to show the 1st league page but not beyond that.It might be helpful if we can find out if there are others within TRF that have joined the competition,
and joined the private TRF league. I joined 1st on 28/10, and the last entry shown was on 1/11, I suspect
there have been others entered after that date. Could I ask that anyone who has entered in our league, but
don’t see themselves in the below list, that they might let us know so that we have some idea of the numbers
we have.1 Frederick george Blyde GLASGOW WARIORS 0 0 0
2 Jacqueline Monk Lagertha’s Army 0 0 0
3 Nathan Hughes Nathan’s Nippers 0 0 0
4 Paul Irwin Inthestream 0 0 0
5 Graham Clark FIRSTFENCEFALLERS 0 0 0
6 Jamie Norman DB9007 0 0 0
7 RICHARD WILLIAMS Joliff’s gems 0 0 0
8 Steve Conroy Kicking Kings 0 0 0Still 3 days for anyone to enter before the competition gets under way.
November 7, 2016 at 22:39 #1271321That sound plausible. Finger crossed – thanks
November 7, 2016 at 23:21 #1271326Thanks, Graham.

November 7, 2016 at 23:39 #1271328Cheers Joe, all the better for having you with us
November 7, 2016 at 23:45 #1271330Cheers Graham have just signed up too
November 8, 2016 at 00:23 #1271336Thanks Ben, glad you’re joining us

I’m glad Catherine brought this problem up, I can see from the TRF League that
there are still the same 8 that have been showing since 1/11/16. We now know for
sure that there are more than that in the league. Perhaps they will have the private
leagues fully functional and showing all members entered before the off, but if not
we will find out the true number come Friday.Still time to get those stables entered before the 1st week cut off (9pm Thursday 10th)
although anyone can join in the competition at any time.
