Looks like a group horse in a handicap job this favourite Yaanaas for Roger Varian. Has won two from two so far on the AW winning cosily both time (jockey seemed super confident last time even though not winning by a lot), think the horse will appreciate a faster gallop and the form of his wins looks very strong. Though I can’t blame anyone for not wanting to pile on at 13/8 in a handicap of this nature.
Some outsiders that interest me are –
Repertoire 10/1 who won this last year so will surely be geared up for today.
Al Marmar 14/1 for Andrew Balding looks on a good mark and we may yet to see the best of him. Balding has a few runners here today, wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him land a double/treble.
Fantasy Believer 22/1, stable in good form and horse is on a good mark.
