    Died at Stratford today after falling 2 out. Great shame, showed a lot of promise. Maybe the race came too soon, he didn’t jump well throughout.

    I saw that he had fallen, I was to busy watching my friends horse in the same race which pulled up lame.

    Looked very unlucky for it to be a fatal fall – barely a serious error – I`ll miss Armariver. Incidentally I hope Nailed On`s ok –  thought he put up a gallant effort against better horses before going lame
