I do win bets from time to time when I am 100 per cent confident, though the Tote Place bet is usually the percentage play.

I will start you off with two today on a very poor days racing as I never touch the "allegedly" All Weather programme,and stakes should be kept to a minimum if playing at all….

1.40 Market Rasen Changing Times (should win really)

2.40 Market Rasen Red Hot Poker (minimum 8 runners required)

Changing Times won at 4/6 and paid 1.50 Tote Place though Red Hot Poker was unplaced…didn’t see the race so not sure what happened to him.

Both horses won today with the Win Nap ending up 4/7 whilst Minella Class won at 7/4 and paid 1.60 for a Tote Place.

An unlucky day for Nicky Henderson today as Snake Eye,starting at 1/5, was edged out by a neck with 25 lengths back to the third though it paid the usual meagre 1.02 Tote Place whilst Kells Belle,at 7/4, broke down before the last hurdle and was pulled up by Barry Geraghty.
