Arc ground make-up

This year’s Arc is so ground dependant it is unreal. You need to actauly step on the turf to know the differential between how it will ride compared to watered surfaces here.

The dirft on Relaible Man here should be taken with a pinhc of salt as it is massively unlikely we will get fast ground.

I can confirm form other posts having worked there in the past that they do NOT water to assist French horses but more to stop the ground cracking up……as the turf make-up is nowhere near as deep in the UK where root growth is more substantative.
