I dont know what his official rating is after saturday ginge, but the racing post have given him a 158 rating which would look a bit high and will surely be hard for him to win off, unless he’s way better than that, yet 158 could win an arkle if it was to play to his strengths.
December 9, 2008 at 06:13 #195585Nice photos thanks Bosranic. Looks like a good day for you despite sods law taking a hand!

Totally agree with you, if he runs in the Arkle he’ll take a deal of beating.
20/1 Corals does look tempting.

Value Is EverythingDecember 9, 2008 at 21:40 #195689This race rarely if ever provides the winner of the Arkle and I would be suprised if either of these are considered the best in their respective yards (Certainly not in Nicholls)… I’d be amazed if Araldur wins the Arkle.
December 9, 2008 at 21:42 #195691Will be in a bit of a quandry if either of these wins the Warwick race in Feb though Aragorn – that race truly is a great guide to the Arkle
December 9, 2008 at 22:08 #195697next years king george winner?
December 9, 2008 at 23:53 #195737Official handicap assessment of the race has moved Araldur up to 152, with Free World on 151.
December 10, 2008 at 00:08 #195741Nothing wrong with those marks Alan though they do tend to rate each novice chase better than the previous one as the season goes on.
Expect the Feltham winner to get 155 and then the Arkle winner 158 etc.
December 10, 2008 at 01:15 #195769From what i saw on Saturday Araldur looks like an Arkle winner and if connections step him up in trip then i would look no further than Free World for the race, I think we saw the Arkle winner there! 2 cracking novices who are both 14/1 for the Arkle!
