Anyone know if HD broadcasts are on their way or do we have to put up with SD broadcasts indefinitely?

“Put up with”? Does HD even make any difference? If people can’t put up with normal pictures in this day and age they are fussy little fuddy duddies  . Pics are excellent as they are.

You’re obviously not watching on a big screen or sitting miles away from your TV. Picture on ATR is particularly poor.

I reckon the HD makes a difference when watching Channel 4 and for the American Football on Sky. I use the HD option wherever it’s available.

Those 3D tv pictures leave me cold though.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Having HD will only encourage Racing UK to charge more for their coverage

Older punters will remember the days of Extel audio and say be grateful for what you have.

But as consumers we are all entitled to demand ever higher standards.

My mate who’s boy works in the industry has told me apparently RUK are planning to roll out HD in the next 12 months, but ATR have no plans. I guess as a premium service RUK have to be seen to be offering a better service than a free one.
