Far West
was more workmanlike than spectacular at Chepstow,his hurdling was fluent but I certainly didn’t see a 3yo who has ‘Chaser’ written all over him.Admittedly he’ll be a 5yo come March 2014 and they have as good a record as any in the Arkle so at least you have something to look forward too! Good Luck with that one but I’ll predict the 2nd horse turns out the better Chaser (

), I’d have to say I couldn’t disagree more. I thought his Chepstow performance was very taking indeed, especially considering it was only his second ever start, first on these shores. He flew over his hurdles like they were fences, and I’d imagine Paul Nicholls won’t waste any time in sending him chasing next term, should he continue in the same manner.Anyway, rant over. Like I said, just a bit of interest for the future
