I think the other one was Glint Of Gold.

OK we’ll throw a Q each – mine is which sire of an outstanding chaser was placed in classics for a trainer more known for his nuturing of quality apprentice jockeys than high class horses.

Think you could make that any more vague, Cancello?

This sire only had one high-class chaser?

Wasn’t widely represented – ran in the 70’s – chaser ran in the 1990’s. – if I said which part of the country the trainer of the sire was based in, that would probably give it away.

Yup, that’s the one. May have been a bit unfair to Reg about the general class of animal he trained but it’s true.

I was thinking of chasers from the 90s with obscure-ish sires and Remittance Man was the most obvious one.

Next question: name the 14 runners-up to Frankel in the correct order from race 1-14 of his career.

No- it was pure luck! I thought Remittance Man was by Remainder Man.

Bugger I only thought I had one iffy one, excluding the ‘????’ of course. I’ll have to bow out and leave this to others, that was my best recollection.

That is good recall Tatling. Only thing I can add is that the Guineas was Dubawi Gold; Native Khan was third.
