I have had to phone Mark as this is the first time that this has occurred. I wanted to be correct before I posted the results.

Five Star Junior won 10th race at 5/4.
However the 9 previous losers (discounting the 1.30 Ling where a joint fav won) cost all the profit of 1,169.66. He then went into the bank of 2,555.00 and at the 10th race only had 960.00 left to invest @ 5/4.

That winner returned with stakes 2160.00
Therefore he now is down 395.00
loss on day = 395.000 + winnings of 1,169.66 total 1,564.66

The daily stop/loss is the accumalated profits if there are any plus the original bank of 2,555.00

This has always been the method he uses and Mark was not really upset as he expects this to happen on more than 1 ocasion a year.

No need to attempt to try and turn a losing day into a winning one by messing around with the stakes. Thats his daily limit and I’m sticking to that.

I obvoiusly dont know if last years profits of 20,600 was a fluke but Mark siad it has made an overall profit for each of the last 3 years.

Just have to wait and see but it is early days to dissmiss it I think.
