Think he ll be the novice to follow this year after he jumped the hurdles at Cheltenham like they were national fences and stayed on for at least 5furlongs. Bit disappointed that italian master isnt running tomorrow nicholls really rates this one
November 7, 2011 at 10:50 #376564I am a massive fan of Al Ferof however Peddlers Cross is the horse that i believe will be THE novice chaser of the this season
November 7, 2011 at 14:28 #376581in the stable tour of todays racing post paul nicholls stated al ferof may go to cheltenham on sunday if not bangor on wednesday. im pretty sure he’ll send the horse to cheltenham, mainly because ruby will be available to ride. i hope so aswell, because i have al ferof in my ten to follow, which doesn’t start till saturday.
anyone else had a go on the ttf?
its interesting that both the supreme novice and albert bartlett hurdlers are both chasing now, without even having a crack at the champion or world hurdle.
November 7, 2011 at 15:21 #376585I’d be surprised if Al Ferof and Peddlers Cross would want to take each other on at this stage of their careers.

That’s because, frankly, their connections know they’re better off chasing – The Fly and Bucksy are pretty much bombproof.

So don't run, just like the others always do
November 8, 2011 at 12:29 #376703Al Ferof appears to have swerved the race.
Wise choice in my view. Why would you want to take on Peddlers Cross at this stage. Especially as most novice / beginners chases nowadays seem to be dreadfully uncompetitive 3 or 4 runner affairs.November 8, 2011 at 12:33 #376705Peddlers Cross will also know the Bangor fences pretty well I would imagine.
November 9, 2011 at 15:36 #376916Peddlers Cross jumped beautifully, didn’t touch a twig as good a round of jumping from a debutant that i’ve seen in a long time.
November 10, 2011 at 12:03 #377080now cue card is facing grands crus on friday, i think those who chose al ferof in there TTF are slightly relieved that he is racing on the sunday.
