Forecast not necessarily in his favour here, but over this trip I’d be really keen on McFabulous.
Flopped here last year, but I thought he shakes ok in The Cleeve before emptying, and just think he’s a bit overpriced.
Zanahiyr rightly popular, and this should set him up nice for stepping up in trip next year, but at the odds, got to go with McFabulous.
McFabulous 14’s (Cashed Out)
April 2, 2022 at 09:22 #1590738It’s definitely Glory and Fortune for me at 10-1
April 5, 2022 at 21:53 #1591324Would be nice to see Monmiral get back to the level of form he showed here last year, but it is hard to see past Zanahiyr here. The entire season he has been staying on over two miles, this should be ideal.
Zanahiyr 2/1
April 5, 2022 at 22:08 #1591327I backed monmiral e/w 3 places 12/1 a few days ago
Think he’s way too big personally
Was injured in the fighting fifth and this has been the target since, Nicholls stated the Fontwell run would be badly needed and he duly cruised into it before tiring
I’d have him 5/6-1 personally
Zanahiyr has had a long hard season on epatante won’t stay imo
April 6, 2022 at 16:40 #1591447Could I ask why you have decided to cash out VTC?
I think McFabulous has a massive chance myself. I think his price is remarkable value.
BUY THE SUN
April 6, 2022 at 16:48 #1591448I find this race difficult.
Epatante and Zanahiyr are both priced up as if they are proven at 2m4f and the reality is they’re not.
I wouldn’t put off anyone going for a proven stayer to turn them both over.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"April 6, 2022 at 16:51 #1591449My thinking also. Zanahiyr doesn’t win much, Epatante is probably having a spin to see if the Mares is a possibility for next season, now that Constitution Hill is about.

Agree about Epatante but not Zanahiyr. He won over 2m 2f on hurdling debut and was staying on strongly at the finish. I think he will greatly improve for the step up in distance. My only concern is if a long season catches up with him.
Agree McFabulous is a lively outsider in first time headgear but I think this is the ideal race for Zanahiyr.
April 6, 2022 at 17:34 #1591461I get what you mean, CAS, but I still don’t think staying on strongly at 2m2f equates to proven at 2m4f.
But he must have a decent chance of staying.
You’re in for a cracking day at the races tomorrow – I shall be watching at home on TV here in Hampshire.

I’d be much more worried about how many hard races he’s already had this season
April 6, 2022 at 19:41 #1591481Glory And Fortune at 12s
April 6, 2022 at 19:48 #1591483Monmiral at 10-1 for me. I actually think that Epatante will run very well upped in trip, but I like the 10-1
April 6, 2022 at 23:23 #1591542Tatling, I cashed out, as I could see him being pulled if there was too much rain, so thought it best to wait.
Still really like him though, and probably my biggest fancy of the day, and glad I waited

April 6, 2022 at 23:27 #1591543Thanks for the reply, and he is my biggest fancy of the day too. Hope I haven’t jinxed you.

April 6, 2022 at 23:28 #1591545I’ve done a few jinxes this year, so there’ll be no complaints here I promise
April 7, 2022 at 05:21 #1591598Zanahiyr will no doubt be popular but I’ll stick to my guns and go with a fresh horse , Monmiral hasn’t had a great year after the injury at Newcastle however Nicholls is going all out for the championship and needs to be winning races like this if he,s to do so , like a few here I’m hoping for a big run
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 7, 2022 at 19:03 #1591814Epatante v smooth, compliments C Hurdle form.
