If you dont read these rules the you are at a significant disadvantage.
Right here are the rules, its fairly simple…
The rules are exactly the same as the Cheltenham Comp (if you unfamiliar with them they are should be just below this thread under the thread title-cheltenham comp rules) bar a few exeptions, which are as follows.
You will get 3x points for your Banker/NAP (If your Banker is a non runner then your banker will be your reserve from that race)
You get 2 X points for your Next Best (Likewise if your reserve is a non runner then your next best will become the reserve from that race). If you do not select a next best then it will imediately become the earliest runner of your selections (unless that is your banker in which case the second earliest).
You get 1 race per day where you can play your reserve aswell as your main selection. This race can be any race of the day (including the same race as your banker) but bonus points on bankers and next best"s do not apply to reserves if the main selection runs. Also, if your reserve or main selection becomes a non runner in this race then you will only have one selection running as a result (there are no reserves for reserves). Your Reserve Play race should be in bold or it will become the first race of the day by default.
ALSO, ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN NO LESS THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE OFF OF THE 1ST RACE EACH DAY OF THE FESTIVAL
NO ENTRIES OR AMENDMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT TIME, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS[/color:1l7q0t6e]
The format for putting up your choices should be the same but obviously with Bold for your reserve play race, so should look something like this, only an example.
1st race time: Selection 1 (Reserve 1)
2nd race time: Selection 2 (Reserve 2) NAP
3rd race time: Selection 3 (Reserve 3)
4th race time: Selection 4 (Reserve 4) (NB)
5th race time: Selection5 (Reserve 5)
6th race time: Selection 6 (Reserve 6)
If you dont put in the reverves and select your "reserve play" race, then you will just be scored on your main selection. I dont have time to PM everyone who doesnt read the rules.
Any queries please PM me and I will try to explain better.
In the event of any disputes, my decision is final
This competition is open to anyone there is no need to declare yourself before hand
Although there will be no monetary reward for victory the winner will be awarded the title Champion and Ruler Of Aintree 2009.
Right, I hope I’ve covered everything and it all makes sense
Thanks and the very best of luck to all,
Bulwark
