Hello…
We have a question asked @ UpInClass Racing Forum (USA)
and I thought I’d come over and inquire with you good folks.
The excitement about the upcoming 2006 Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs is building, as we attempt to discern your European runners and how they will fair in competition with our American runners. ;)
~ THE QUESTION ~
—————————–
Re: Euro Race Replays
Anyone have a website where we can observe the race replays of the European runners headed for The ‘Cup?
Thanks,
Quick
——————————–
Thank you for your help… it’s going to be a great BC!!!
October 15, 2006 at 16:11 #80021Well if you go on http://www.attheraces.com and type in the horse you want to see replays of, click on the horse, and those replays available will be shown by by icons next to the race that says ‘REPLAY’
If the race is not there, it will be available on http://www.racingpost.co.uk – one again, type in the name of the horse, click on the horse, then next to the race, it will have 2 buttons. 1 says ‘full’, the other says ‘fin’, ie. finish.
Click on which one you want to see, but they charge 20p to watch the whole race, and 10p for the finish, so you’ll need to set up an account and deposit some funds into it.
You could also always check youtube.com and type in ‘horse racing’ or ‘keiba’, and you’ll get masses of pages with over 50,000 videos. I’ve only checked the first 500 or so, but there are plenty of races from this year on there, all in good quality.
October 15, 2006 at 16:20 #80022Excellent… Thank you!
I will post a link to your answer and this thread
so that our members will be able to take a look.
Again, your assistance is greatly appreciated. :)

October 16, 2006 at 15:46 #80025Not much class in the web site design stakes.
October 16, 2006 at 19:28 #80026I always think it’s funny how the graphics on the screen during American racing are every colour of the rainbow, and every font they can find.
Subtlety isn’t their forte

October 17, 2006 at 08:14 #80027You know… (lol) had you not been absolutely right,
I might have been offended. You are correct, however.
Too much turquoise blue on our main page.
I’ve made a few changes… still not subtle perhaps,
but easier on the eyes. Thank you for your critique, much appreciated!
Each of the UIC forums has a different look…
right now, our concentration is on the Breeders’ Cup.
The predominant color in the UIC BC forum is PURPLE… ;)

November 4, 2006 at 18:31 #80032Badactor, imho, the best value at the meeting from a European angel should be David Junior in the Classic.
Also Godolphin’s Ech of Light in the Mile looks a value bet. I hope so, though they both look very hot races. Also, his stable companion, Librettist looks a value bet.
