I blame life’s vicissitudes on them
yes the damn monkeys
the folk that we monkeymen come from.
Sitting about for millions of years in foliage
they decide to come down
only to discover
that they’ve got bad genes.
No wonder, the lazy sittabout tykes.
Old world monkeys apes and humans
are all the same, just different hair.On the subject of blood cancers
people are living a lot longer
as understanding and treatments improve,
and although difficult to find a cure,
they are searching, and only last week
was news of a possible breakthrough drug
relating to another difficult disease, Alzheimer’s.p.s…
The Mayo clinic in America has done some fine work in the area of MM.
There are lots of different treatments. There are a lot of american forums
that deal with the inrticacies of the condition and offer extremely good advice.August 9, 2008 at 17:59 #176555Aaronizneez you had doubts about whether you should post on such a sensitive subject. It is my belief that everyone reading this thread, either now or at some point in their lives will be affected by cancer, either directly themselves, or through one of their family members. We all have this or will have this in common, and everyone deals, or will deal with it in their own way, but of course it is never easy. Your finely worded thoughts brought home with a simple directness just how difficult it can be. Certainly I would like to thank you for sharing those thoughts and expressing just how difficult it is personally for you, your child, and your brave mother.
I was trying to be helpful in my last post, but feel I may have misinterpreted some of the circumstances you laid out in your initial and subsequent posts and have deleted some of the advice I tendered as possibly being inappropriate, considering the progression of the disease in your mother, which considering the treatment she has had, and your words about her, is not clearly in the initial stages. My thoughts are with you and your family.
August 9, 2008 at 18:20 #176556Why did I post it on a forum ? I’m not really sure, but I am almost regretting doing it, once again not sure why.
Aaronizneez,
apologies for my multiples, but these are the classic first signs of a splash poster. Welcome to the small exclusive clubAugust 11, 2008 at 01:09 #176689gamble
Apologies for not replying sooner but it has been club championship weekend at our golf club and I’ve been playing a lot of bad golf.
No need to explain, no offence was taken. It is after all a forum and I appreciate yours and everyone elses kind words. As for a splash poster , you might need to explain that one to me although I’m sure I could get the hang of it if tutored properly
August 11, 2008 at 10:25 #176711Aarononizneez while you were energetically smashing balls into another parish destroying your handicap, I had an exhausting weekend of six. It lasted more than forty eight hours and the the razor that featured heavily in it was finally blunted last night on a stone. Sharon Stone.
As for splash Dave doesn’t know it yet but there is a very high probability – and a voice more suggestive than Stone or Hal’s sensually declares – this will be the name of his new dog.
I may be focussing in on those 60 energetic hours in the edge of reezan where a full explanation of splash will be given.
