    A few drinks, a meal in a half decent restuarant and a taxi home could easily cost 70 pounds.

    Well that is the total sum everyone in ‘The Bad Boys’ syndicate paid for a share in Mount Benger. The total cost was 700 pounds!

    The syndicate are based in a local Brighton pub (the Racing Pub of the Year 2 years ago) and have had a few other horses.

    Mount Benger has won his last 3 races and should Plumpton survive the frost in Sussex this morning will be going for a 4th win on the trot.

    Benger is of course trained by the brilliant Jim Best.

    I take it that Plumpton is off?, someone was asking for 5K at 1.08!!

    I didn`t know their was an inspection!
