The one that catches my eye is Golantilla at 20s who possesses a real turn of foot and could make up into a legit Grade 1 contender.
Golantilla
fits the bill too ‘Thelastfling’ but its a case of nailing your colours and sticking with it.I nailed my colours early with
My Tent or yours
in the knowledge that
The New One
had beaten him but I know he wont beat him again, good horse that he is,he doesn’t have anywhere near the scope of ‘MTOY’imo.

If I start watering the course now Gary he might still make it!! The bloody clerk of the course should have thought about that before the race turns into a farce! Good luck with yours though as Duncan Bannatyne says "Am Oot"!
June 27, 2013 at 13:47 #444125You’ve got a short memory Ginge it was only a couple of years back when you had 26 losers in one race and the only one you didn’t back you layed.
With the prices you take Nathan, favourite after favourite after favourite… If I backed 26 horses in one race, I’d still end up taking combined odds bigger than your
one
horse bet.

Don’t tell lies Ginger one or you know what will happen, that carrot of a nose you got will grow just like Pinocchio. I do not take prices on favourite after favourite after favourite I just back whoever Richard Hughes is riding.

June 28, 2013 at 12:36 #444190No reason why a racing enthusiast can not "tip" Mount Athos and appreciate Thomas Chippendale. How the !"£$%^&* is that
"putting the public away"
?
Most owners might target Royal Ascot, but Mount Athos would’ve been one of the favourites in the Gold Cup (he’s that good). Possibly Britain’s best "stayer". Connections did not want to risk showing their hand to the Australian handicapper, as a return to Melbourne is the Doctor’s main target. So although Mount Athos had the "best form", there were reasons why he might not show that form Gord.
Ginge to have the ability just to understand how these Tipsters minds work is a skill, its like being able to seperate the wood from the trees, you take things far too literally and lack the required mindset in order to evaluate the difference of what people say and what people do.I have that ability,I can tell just by the way people on here write as to what sort of person they are, irrelevant to Horseracing.I have read your work for several years now and you prove that in life just like in your betting you are one who cant think for themselves, you lack confidence thats why you need the likes of Timeform to re-assure you, incidentally both GC and JM are ex-Timeform operatives who also
depend
strictly on form to assess horses, neither have shown the ability to identify an unexposed talent in a horse as their assessment of the likes of
Remote
proved the other day.As for laying horses I think all 3 of you would find that a challlenge too far all because you all look at Horses respective chances Mathematically and the thought that a 1/5 shot was layable would be enough for you all to soil your pants!
Ha ha, simply brilliant Gordie!!
You really do come out with the most outrageous drivel i think i`ve ever read on any open forum anywhere.
Great entertainment value for getting your thread views up, but utter codswallop nonetheless. Full marks to you for the sheer gonads to post it though.
June 28, 2013 at 15:24 #444209Gord you see that DAWN APPROACH may go to France for next race if he does i think he get beat. because he face the best 3yo colt in Europe that is INTELLO this horse much better than TORONADO he is

Give Gord a break Softie, 23 pages without a winner is nothing unusual for him. Hasn’t got the balls/confidence to tip a horse these days.
Value Is EverythingJune 29, 2013 at 01:00 #444281Any suggestions on what the next thread title will be?

I love a laugh guys, even at my own expense, its what gets you through the day! I must have dreamt about putting this years Derby winner up Ginge eh? You must have hated
Dawn approach
winning this years Guineas!! I wonder why?
June 29, 2013 at 07:30 #444298I see Stubbs is out again today in the Railway Stakes at The Curragh on his recovery mission.
Joseph has seemingly deserted him for O`Briens other runner Coach House, who ran really well at Ascot.
Interesting race and i reckon we shall know a fair bit more after today. Stubbs has a fair bit to prove at present though imo.June 29, 2013 at 08:10 #444302I see Stubbs is out again today in the Railway Stakes at The Curragh on his recovery mission.

Stubbs
today putting him up to a Group 1 sprinter in the making in
Coach house
.I still think ‘Stubbs’ is a horse needing further so a gallant 2nd to the speedster will keep my ‘hopes’ alive.Today though is all about
Trading Leather
for me,he was my Derby horse and today might just show missing Epsom was a costly mistake.I think the step up to a 11/2m finally will show this fellows true potential! As for the ‘Pitmens’ Derby……….I’ll watch it but thats it!
June 29, 2013 at 08:38 #444309Good luck with Trading Leather, today could be the day.
Pitmans Derby……yeah just a watching race i agree, but purely out of interest and to tiny stakes under todays conditions, i have 3 against the field ( yeah i know, but 1 aint enough )

I have a little bit on Trading Leather at 16/1 just because I thought the price was too big. I am actually worried that he might not stay. Ruler Of The World could improve again and hose up here but I don’t like the odds, particularly with Ryan Moore not up today. Sugar Boy has never run on going anything faster than good and most of his wins have been on soft so I would oppose him on that basis.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Nice one Gordio! You always had faith in that horse and he justified it today. Tough and gutsy performance. Well done mate!
