Next bet is Northumberland Plate, have you had a look yet? I like Moidore from the Quinn yard but am wary of Arch Villain if Amanda Perrett sends him all this way!
June 23, 2013 at 20:42 #443830I’d love a pound for everytime you’ve heard the immortal lines "Who’s the Ginger T*at"?
You’d have about a fiver then.

There aren’t many loud-mouth idiots, jealous I’ve still a full head of hair that hasn’t gone grey.

Sue Ellen v JR
Den v Ange
Ali v FraserSurely we can now add to that epic list
TAPK v Ginge!!!
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"

Thats a tip in itself Gary,’Arch Villain’ turning up but my idea of the
Class
horse in the race has to be
Biographer
,I’ve watched him before he even set foot on a racecourse and 14/1 looks generous!
June 23, 2013 at 21:44 #443836Think that was why he was taken out of Ascot?
June 24, 2013 at 00:49 #443846Saying "Dont take my criticism to heart" means you never have to say sorry.

Tell you what I do think Gary………
Tiger Cliff
was given a poor ride from Tom Queally at Royal Ascot in a race he should have been right on the ball.I expect him to turn up at Newcastle as he didn’t get a hard race at all. However that form only further enhances the chances of
my
Biographer
and what also encourages me about the Nielson horse is he handles any ground so I dont have to worry about the weather up on the east coast……Unlike I do at the Curragh for
my
Trading Leather
.Dont let me put you off yours though mate!
Ginge, you are being tested, its a reflection of your losing streak thats making you feel sensitive at the moment, once you turn your thread around and I’m sure you will, well if you cant by betting every horse in the race there’s a problem!! At least you can look up to your King and say Geez he’s amazing,he can put up loser after loser and then just like Batman……..Kerpow! another legendary coup is landed!
Simenon
was so close to doing just that!
I remember telling you he was a Gold Cup horse and you saying he’s just a handicapper…….Was that a quote from Timeform?
June 24, 2013 at 09:35 #443856Gary I’ve been going through this Pitmens Derby and I see both Guy and Amanda Harwood have previous wins to their names so I’d expect a run from
your
Arch Villain
,however just be aware she also has a Prince Khaled Abdulla horse entered too in
Signed Up
,he’s a lightly raced sort whos at the right end of the handicap,33/1 is big for one from such sources! Will he get in though?

If fit, it’s all about the French horse in the King George.

Ignore the above I’ve just seen your comment about this years winner on Joni’s thread.

Just in the process of taking the very generous 12/1 Nathan.
Ektihaam
£100 e/w 12/1 Bet365 King George.
June 24, 2013 at 15:27 #443886How did I deserve that?

Sorry to P*ss on your fireworks Sir Harry but your 25 losing bets is one less than my 26 at Royal Ascot!
That explains your mood Gord.

My mood is the same as always Ginge,Win Lose or Draw! I know the next Ante-Post coup is just around the corner and I’m taking it with 510bhp to my rear end!

That’s not what it seems to me. Outbursts always coming when you’re at a low eb, either personally or "horseracingly". We are all susceptible Gord, indeed it is only natural to be a bit down after 26 losing bets. But be careful if you don’t recognise mood swings when looking back (afterwards). Suggest asking those close to you if they notice a change; as strong mood swings can be indicative of something physically wrong. I speak from experience.
I will make allowances for your mood (for now) Gord.
Value Is EverythingJune 24, 2013 at 17:51 #443901Gord you a hard man to impress you are i thought LEADING LIGHT won well i did and looks a very strong stayer. he looked beat furlong out but still kept finding. He not a flashy horse never win on the bit but he is a tough horse he is could win leger or gold cup me and Tommy are fans of this horse.
And Gord have a look at page 207 in your previous thread and the post by me right at top of page. all i say i did not have a penny on him.But in a strange way nice to see him win that race at ascot.
June 24, 2013 at 19:15 #443907Charlton has said Al Kazeem goes for the Eclipse rather than the King George so, with bookies still showing him as 11/4 fav for the King George, we can expect trimming of the other runners now and the fancy odds on Ektihaam will be long gone shortly. Willy Hilly are still showing 12/1 but they’ll probably chase you if you try to get a bet on.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Just backed
Ektihaam
with Hills at 12/1 Steve even though like you say ‘Al Kazeem’ could miss the race,I notice every other bookmaker has suspended betting on the race!
Billys security team working the nightshift are in for an unpleasant surprise when they look at my account!
I bet they are watching the Tennis instead of the Website updates that keep us all so well informed. Thanks for the Heads Up though! I did the same thing a couple of years ago with Victor chandler and got my account closed!!
