Small enough field. Any thoughts? Deise Des Beiffes for Nicky Henderson is 2/2 this season. If The Cap Fits for Harry Fry also 2/2. Would be interested in hearing people’s thoughts.
December 23, 2017 at 23:40 #1333762Fry’s stable form at present is terrible and DDB has looked a speedy time in his two wins so should like Kempton. 8lbs to find on OR but could easily do so. Hopefully get an e/w price morning of the race.
December 24, 2017 at 20:07 #1333875And there’s me with a Supreme Novices slip for ITCF and he’s going chasing…

If Fry was in form then I’d have no doubts whatsoever about his star novice hurdler but he might be several pounds off his rating, which would make this a fair contest.
However, should he remain around his current odds of 6-4 then he’s in a multiple with Footpad.
December 24, 2017 at 20:28 #1333879Surely this is a hurdle, not a novices chase.
looked at the video of both of the two market leaders and they were both hugely impressive, so this is a race to leave alone for me.
December 25, 2017 at 22:58 #1333980I agree re Fry’s stable form but DDB is unproven on Soft so you could take them both on with Solomon Grey for the Skeltons who acts with cut, is improving and 12/1.
December 26, 2017 at 12:55 #1334041Good win and he needed that – massive Boxing Day crowd at Kempton seemed to spook him a bit so a good experience for him.
December 27, 2017 at 06:51 #1334247Didn’t back ITCF yesterday but was glad to see him win.
Backed him at the start of the season for any race at the festival and put him in my 10 to follow. Very nice animal.
Was very impressed with his ability to quicken yesterday. Really nice turn of foot from a horse with a good cruising speed.
