Delta won his GC today , I expect Galvin to finish in front of him in the GN

NRNBMarch 18, 2023 at 06:19 #1640418“Delta won his GC today , I expect Galvin to finish in front of him in the GN”
Galvin couldn’t get past him there and will be 7 pounds worse off at Aintree.
March 18, 2023 at 06:42 #1640419Yeah Mike but that was a prep for Galvin with the GN being his goal , the cross country was Delta ‘s GC
March 18, 2023 at 11:03 #1640460Backed Conflated, was going to back him anyway as I put him in VTC’s 10 to follow comp, but after yesterday’s run in the Gold Cup got a stronger reason.
The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.March 18, 2023 at 16:33 #1640524My ew picks at present…
Corach Rambler 20-1
Mr Incredible 14-1. 5 places.
Delta Work 20-1. 5 places.
Le Milos 20-1. 5 places.March 19, 2023 at 10:20 #1640595Galvin played again , I just don’t see him not being involved
March 19, 2023 at 10:57 #1640602If the BHA Handicapper could revise the weights and marks today, he probably wouldn’t have Corach Rambler on 146, ad he won off that last Tuesday, and he might not have Delta Work on 159, ad he beat Galvin (on 166 in this) by two and a half lengths last week too.
The defeated Galvin is 7lb worse off at Aintree – tall order to turn the tables on half a stone worse terms, I’d say.
Kempton Park winner Our Power looks the best handicapped of the rest, but will he get in?

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"March 19, 2023 at 12:22 #1640614Chezza how fit was Galvin ? , since the GC he,s been laid out for this , lovely pipe opener at Chelt , I fully expect him to reverse the form
March 19, 2023 at 12:49 #1640630I think that I can forget my Farclas bet after a very concerning pulled up on Friday.
I really should wait now until final declarations, but although both are highly ulikely to get in, I’m going to bet a Gigginstown pair just now, as they come with nrnb
Both Defi Bleu and Milan Native have caught my attention in the last week. I’ve bet both of them 100-1 ew 5 Places
March 19, 2023 at 12:51 #1640633Defi would need juice but 5 miles would be his ideal distance , Milan is being hcapped for a race but I think more likely Punchestown
March 19, 2023 at 16:25 #1640686Capodano for me 25’s e/w, Willie made some positive comments about him prior to Cheltenham.
Obviously another few to do on the day..March 19, 2023 at 16:42 #1640690“Chezza how fit was Galvin ? , since the GC he,s been laid out for this , lovely pipe opener at Chelt , I fully expect him to reverse the form”

Stamina query and chase inexperience, only 1 prep. So dunno.

Agreed.. But its a lottery, and Im happy with it. If it runs, wont be 25’s. Nearer 12’s I suspect.
March 19, 2023 at 18:51 #1640709It’s not a lottery , recent years class horses have come to the fore with the handicapper giving them a chance , GC runner last year , chelt festival winner before this , Many Clouds a proven graded horse , unless the ground was absolutely bottomless the class horses will have an edge
