    Nicky Henderson has

    Hadrian Approach

entered. As I’ve said before about Hadrians, he’s had jumping issues in the past, but there’s no doubt that he’s got a fair bit of ability. The handicapper refuses to cut him any slack, so he remains on 146 for this, but I don’t think a mark like that should prohibit him too much, jumping permitted. He’s potentially the class act of the field, along with…..

    Burton Port

, who still looks, potentially, very well handicapped, could be a real springer for Jonjo O’Neil, who’s just landed The Irish National.

Couldn’t get a more accurate write up than that VTC.I was convinced it was a 2 horse race myself and still backed the wrong one. Bad judgement only backing the one horse………where’s Ginge?

I backed three Gord, but didn’t get the first or second. Godsmejudge and Restless Harry main bets. Last named the one to win me most money. May be I should’ve backed them all each way……….where’s TAPK?

Its not often I really balls up but I did yesterday,I’ve watched the re-run several times now and it was pretty obvious that Barry was stalking AP,normally I’d have picked up on that and done the necessary in running but I was totally convinced

    Burton Port

would win and win easy as his Gold cup form was the best on offer and TAPK knows his horses………..Yeh says he who told all and sundry

    Hadrians Approach

was a RSA/Hennessey horse last year! At no point did I even consider Laying off on ‘Burton’ as he travelled like the winner from such a long way out and I didn’t expect him to jib out up the hill. The best horse won and I should have backed it as I did just that in last years race when he carried 11-10,he only carried 11-0 yesterday.Twatadicktomy,I’m still fuming about it. One horse who really has dissapointed was another I rated Hennessey material last year but he has shown absolutely zilch since running 2nd in last seasons renewal of the Whitbread and thats

    Same Difference

.I must say Paul Haigh knows his stuff he made some good comments on the Morning line yesterday.

Looking through his form, why have they ran Hadrians Approach at Cheltenham; clearly hates the place!

    Agreed his run behind

    Holywell

confirmed that as did his blundering RSA effort.
