Already seen a few exciting two year olds a couple from Ireland and one from the States as highlighted by Cork all Star
American Rascal looks destined for the Norfolk whilst Aidan O’Brien has already seen very, very good runs by River Tiber and Democracy
Aidan named Alabama as one he thinks could be good at a stable tour recently.

April 24, 2023 at 13:42 #1645222Good luck with the thread Nath, and hope you dig out a few.
I’ll chip in with some myself, but my track record would suggest they won’t be in any Antepost Markets for The Classics
April 24, 2023 at 18:36 #1645251Took 10s from Power for River tiber in Coventry.
5f race but looks like be better over longer trips to.
April 26, 2023 at 15:18 #1645474I’m always wary of these ones like Alabama that they hype up Nathan, but as contradictory as it, he’s still an interesting one haha
I’ve only really earmarked one 2yo so far, and that’s Sioux Warrior, who’s dad won The Norfolk and The Phoenix
April 27, 2023 at 12:58 #1645650100% Kris..
I made a note of Alabama but its whats done on the track that is important
Aidan also mentioned Sioux Warrior among 5 or 6 others
No mention of River Tiber or Democracy thoughAidan said after Democracy won his maiden that he may go for the Filer listed race that Blackbeard won last year but he’s not been entered in it

April 27, 2023 at 20:42 #1645842D’oh, I confused myself with Sioux Warrior.. I believe he is in Charlie Hills stable..
Due to run on Saturday at Doncaster, good luck with him KrisBlackbeard to conquer the World
April 29, 2023 at 00:36 #1645986Nath, I always bet the Midnights on their debut, so I’m with the 2yo Midnight Lir at Ripon at 16’s
Unlikely he’ll amount to too much, but Prince of Lir was decent, so I can live in hope, and at least I’ve put a 2yo up on the thread as promised, and it’s no even May yet lol
April 29, 2023 at 12:52 #1646030Good luck Vtc
I’ve just played Qandil at 9/2 in the same race
out again after finishing 3rd last week would suggest they think shes ready to winBlackbeard to conquer the World
April 29, 2023 at 18:48 #1646127Wesley Ward had another 2 y/o winner yesterday in Fandom. Not quite the American Rascal vibe but won cosily enough
Blackbeard to conquer the World
May 1, 2023 at 10:25 #1646241The listed race Blackbeard won last year is today.
Bucanero Fuerte was pretty good in his maiden win, showed potential and that experience may come in handy to see off some Aidan O’Brien newcomers. A bit short in the market but interesting race nonethelessBlackbeard to conquer the World
May 1, 2023 at 10:36 #1646246and with that he’s a non runner

May 10, 2023 at 17:57 #1647294Qandil ran on well the other day
4/1 at Kempton.. turned out quickly again you’d think shes fit at leastBlackbeard to conquer the World
May 19, 2023 at 10:29 #1648322The 2 y/o race at Newbury today has produced a few good uns in the past, including Mehmas whose son Baheer runs today for Richard Hannon.. I was a little surprised to see Baheer is gelded. I’m wondering why? It may indicate that this one is above average as he’s got no stallion value and as said Hannon normally puts a Ascot one in here
Blackbeard to conquer the World
May 27, 2023 at 10:46 #1649221I’m hoping to see Sioux Warrior get his head in front today at Chester. I think he can, but I’m never overly confident with anything at this track
June 4, 2023 at 16:37 #1650532From the Coventry Stakes thread;
I’m not a fan of picking out one of the many potential Aidan O’Brien runners, let alone the unraced ones, but City of Troy keeps catching my attention. Has an entry in the railway stakes, and perhaps that might be the goal.
At this stage then, I’m definitely going to bet Sioux Warrior, assuming that he gets an entry. A shade disappointing so far, but I’ll dig my heels in with him and back him if he gets an entry
