Is it too early to back the Bolger animal Teolane? Looked to have a lot of potential yesterday and now Albany bound. Is it too early to back at 20s? Thoughts?
June 11, 2011 at 06:44 #360031The sire Teofilo never made it to the track as a 3yo so be careful.
June 21, 2011 at 17:35 #361925gave Maybe a big speed figure at Ascot in the Chesham last week, but startling win by Peter Chapple Hyam’s My Propeller at Pontefract on Sunday.
If prepared to allow My Propeller 3 lengths for not being all out, then would award her best time figure by a juvenile filly in last 2 years.
Not an expert in knowing whether these types will train on as a 3yo, but if she does, fair chance of staying a mile on pedigree and would be good value at around 25/1. If she wins something like the Lowther or Cheveley Park, will obviously be much shorter than that
June 29, 2011 at 14:56 #362861Is the owner of MP the footballer?
June 29, 2011 at 17:08 #362870Jockey never moved once on her. Ridiculously impressive. Yes, Joey Barton.
January 30, 2012 at 22:45 #20887DISCOURSE 8/1
Beat a stablemate on debut who had a run before her that horse won a group race next time out.Discourse went and won again as well. The best 2yo filly in the stable she will go on to win the 1000 guineas this year.
Any thoughts.
January 31, 2012 at 01:14 #389126I have a friend who works for the Head stable, who also advises on breeding (advised on the breeding for Sarah Lynx, excitedly e-mailed me after she won in Hong Kong the other week) and writes for European Bloodstock News.
And he says that by a street, the longest street in the world (Holloway Road?), that Discourse is the best looking 2yo filly he saw last year.
January 31, 2012 at 17:43 #389193I also hope at Newmarket this may she becomes top 3yo filly at a 1m as well.I think she is a very good horse.
February 2, 2012 at 12:34 #389442Can still get 5s with Sporting Bet for Maybe.
Buying money.

I’d certainly avoid that at this stage. O’Brien’s fillys are rarely at full throttle that early in the season, and his record for this race is dreadful.
February 2, 2012 at 12:54 #389445If she has a run pre-Guineas, her chance will be multiplied 1000 fold.
His record with fillies first time out is worse than any negative adjective you can think of.
February 24, 2012 at 14:16 #393378Does that include the run to get them ready to run?
February 24, 2012 at 14:19 #393379Any number of runs.
March 19, 2012 at 01:13 #397662I think Godolphin have some strong fillies for 2012 season so my fancy is for:-
GAMILATI
Only beaten sh hd by Discourse in a maiden at Newmarket last year, went on to win the Cherry Hinton (GP2) at Newmarket in July and recently has won the 1,000 Guineas Trial and the 1,000 Guineas in Meydan.
n.b.LYRIC OF LIGHT
Won the May Hill (Gp2) and the Shadwell Fillies Mile (GP.1)
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 19, 2012 at 05:07 #397669With their rush to Dubai this year Ballydoyle will be forward with their home focused runners also.
April 19, 2012 at 13:56 #401409Maybe two, Maybe three lengths.

Her homework suggests she will take all the beating.
