I’d like to know what the BBC’s definition of ‘Our’ is as I would suggest they do not represent the majority view of this country.

    Just who are the Our?

Everyone who doesn’t believe in The Blob.

And how many threads on the BBC do we need?

If N Ireland leaves the UK, I’d want to keep the BBC Wildlife unit. Their news section is too establishment and government-friendly.

Surely their Wildlife Unit will be covering this government before too long.

There’s an episode of “Seven Worlds…” in which walruses throw themselves off a cliff. Don’t tell me that that doesn’t make you think of the current government?

Our BBC. A channel which turned its back on horse racing, one of the most popular spectator sports in the country.

But it manages to find two hours on one of its main channels to show wheelchair rugby league.

When every owner of a TV has to pay you a mandatory licence fee you are under zero pressure to actually supply what there is demand for.

Some industries are natural nationalised monopolies IMO – gas, electricity, water, internet, railways, healthcare and education – the first five all feed the consumer via the same national infrastructure grid and with the last two it’s about creating a socially just meritocracy where everyone has the same chance.

But the BBC is one of the best adverts for privatisation I ever saw.

    Disagree?

This is the channel that employed Clare Balding!

    Chezza rests his case.

I was once proud to say I occasionally used to work for the BBC on Grandstand.

But nowadays it feels like fessing up to once being Jimmy Saville’s butler.

    “Our BBC?”

    It’s not my BBC!
