Unfortunately, when steroids were legal then every horse could be on steroids. Therefore, every horse has to be presumed to be on steroids when judging their performance.
Where as, when steroids are illegal every horse should be presumed not on steroids, unless there is evidence to say otherwise.
Thankfully Jollyp, the ARB has now come to their senses. So we can relax now can’t we?
Hmmm the trainers of the 100 or so horses treated with them in Newmarket certainly breathed a sigh of relief when they swept it under the carpet, oh and as you say it is illegal there!
