Small fields at Kelso on Wednesday, not surprising given the dry summer, but there will plenty of grass coverage. Garde Des Champs comes out top in the race that comes into the radar range of this thread, but this one would find a way of losing a walk-over so I’ll steer clear of the contest!
Another point is that Savvy Disko, who tooks a heavy fall at Goodwood, reappears at Yarmouth which is pleasing given things didn’t look good after he had come down.
