Big brave Nige is still hiding from scrutiny despite his glorious victory against a man dressed a bin. He’s clearly instructed his lackeys to turn the droning on about immigrants up to 11 but ultimately he knows what’s coming.
I do like reservoirs. The flooding of green and pleasant valleys might be contentious but IMO they add to the natural world and don’t detract from it. Birdlife in particular has benefitted from them and humanlife too, given their popularity as day-out destinations. I love wandering around them.
There’s a pleasant triptych of reservoirs around here that make a nice walk at just about any time of year. Infinitely preferable to noisy, ugly and energy hungry desalination plants.
