I suppose we’re left with the question was Gstaad below his best at Newmarket or was Bow Echo below his best today? I’m more inclined to believe the former, the 126 OR Bow Echo got felt over the top. Time will tell I guess. They haven’t exactly pulled 10L clear of the ridiculously badly ridden Power Blue or the complete rag who has surely ruined his handicap mark for the sake of a nice day out.
