An interesting article on China, outlining how (relatively) well-placed it is to withstand a protracted energy crisis.

Their well-resourced mix of energy sources strikes me as the model elsewhere should adopt: not the extremes of a rush to renewable sources leading to a putative ‘net-zero’ by a set date nor the counterpoint of wholesale abandonment of renewables and ‘drill baby drill’ that seems to be the mutually exclusive beliefs here and in much of the West.
