Good. Planting some crappy little whips doesn’t balance out the wreckage and proceeding with works when they had been ordered not to is arrogant. €100k is nothing to them but still, glad they got fined. Ripping up hedges or using a disc cutter to reduce them to tattered lollipop sticks is far, far too common here.
