I was thinking the same thing about Envoi Allen Graham. He had no chance in the race, so why put the old boy under the stress, etc. I also agree with you Jac, I don’t think DeBromhead would have sent him out there if they thought there was a major risk to his health. Just a terrible shame. I feel horrible for the stable staff that cared for him every day. Heartbreaking.
