I think you’ll find that Skelton, Henderson, Nicholls et al would rather win the cup than have any individual winners themselves. And if the cup were to be regained ( have we ever actually won it?) there’d surely be an open topped bus tour of Lambourn…
More seriously, the main reason Id like more British winners is that it’s usually easier for me to get a handle on their form for betting purposes.
