It won’t stop the Labour Party and Conservative Party strutting around and thinking they are important, despite the fact they can only just poll over 30% combined, when in living memory they often polled 85% to 90% on high turnouts.
When they started their double act, Britain was still a significant (albeit damaged) player on the world stage. Now at the fag end of their time in power, we cannot even defend our own military bases anymore.
Don’t they ever stop to wonder why they have lost so much support and are so widely despised?
