0-0 last night. Sounded like a dull game. Southport had the better of the second half and Buxton seemed to be content with a point from an early stage.
At least it wasn’t a defeat but Hereford winning with a last minute penalty was a bit of a blow.
Now it is two tough away journeys to Kidderminster and Radcliffe before the Trophy quarter final at the end of the month.
At least Leamington look doomed and Oxford, Peterborough Sports and Bedford are very much in the relegation mix. Worksop could get dragged into it as well.
Hereford and Alfreton having so many games in hand is an irritant but I can’t see them winning all of them, so they are still in the mix as well.
Peterborough Sports away and Alfreton, Oxford and Leamington at home are key games for Southport. Spennymoor at home is one we should be looking to win as well but they do seem to be our jinx team.
