The honest answer is I will watch on TV mostly at home, perhaps a bit in the pub. Ultimately I’m not going to deprive myself of something I enjoy when doing so won’t make so much as a penny difference to FIFA’s or the USA’s coffers. Wouldn’t attend if it was free.
I don’t believe any country will boycott but I’d understand if they do. It would certainly be more discussed if the same was going on in certain other countries but obviously the USA gets a pass from the international community as ever.
Still four months to go though, a lot could happen in that time.
