A rather quiet day for handicaps this Saturday. A pity that ITV Racing hasn’t seen fit to cover the Catterick Dash run in a lunchtime slot with a morning start to the meeting (I thought the BHA had ditched that nonsense).
On a handicapping note the handicapper really has got the northern sprinters tied down after a season’s racing, with 3lbs covering 8 of the runners in the Catterick sprint.
