Three for tomorrow, two at Doncaster and one running at Newbury.
First up, at Newbury, I like JAHBATH (6/1 generally) in the 2.25 at Newbury. This looks reasonably competitive at first glance but Jahbath from a yard that continues in great form, makes significant appeal after a highly encouraging fourth on his return form a 476 absence and a gelding operation. he disappointed as a three year old on his last start before that in Medan but had won his four starts prior to that and could be a bit better than his handicap mark. he should be a point to a point and a half shorter in my calculations.
Next up at Doncaster in the 2.50 HIGHFIELD PRINCESS (11/1 Betvictor and Sky Bet) is likely to start making significant progress now sent handicapping. Today could be the day to catch her but, if not, keep an eye out for her as she looks very likely to win off that current mar
The third selection is THIBAAN (8/1 paddy power, Betfair and BetVictor). It is difficult to know how far Sir Michael Stoute is prepared to stretch his longer term projects at three but Thibaan could be one he will look to exploit early on the back of two highly creditable runs behind a couple of very decent performers. An opening mark of 85 could be very workable for this son of War Front who, whatever happens on Saturday, looks sure to have a race or two in him at the very least.
Have a great Saturday,
