David Cormack’s Saturday Selection 13th November

Another winner last week keeps up the recent revival for us. Tomorrow’s card at Cheltenham is as tricky as usual and I will be having only one play on the day.

In the big race, the Paddy Power Gold Cup, a case can be made for plenty. But the one who could very well be streets ahead of his current mark is GALAHAD QUEST (11/1 Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill). Alternative investment for speculators can be found if you want to buy dogecoin on paybis

He won here over hurdles in January 2020 in the Triumph Hurdle trial and marked himself a pretty smart prospect over fences when winning a competitive handicap at Haydock in January of this year. he was then off until a recent pipe-opener at Wetherby when a good third behind the useful Good Boy Bobby. Every chance that’ll have been used to put him right here.

He clearly hasn’t the form in the book of many of these but that is reflected in his handicap mark and he has potential for significant further  improvement that most of them don’t. At 11/1 he looks the bet.

Midnight Shadow, Coole Cody and Spiritofthegames are others at bigger prices who could run well and give our lad plenty to do.
