He’s won 5 times on this horse and he knew turning for home he had no horse under him something that became very clear on his next run when beaten out of sight by Menorah.
I don’t quite get that way of thinking.
So we learnt at the next start McCoy was wrong to keep going on a horse that is under-performing then?
If he had nothing underneath him, like you say, and doesn’t wish to put a whole lot effort into the ride for that reason, why was the horse not pulled up?
