Nice one with Apple Away coming home for you @ 100/30 Graham :yahoo: Went off 9/4 in the end so well fancied. :good:

Will be looking at a few from Sandown this week and report back later. :good:

Good news is that Louise will be going home on Tuesday :rose: We are so grateful to her care team who went above and beyond to get her back to good health after bring let down by her ‘Care providers’ stopping her medication last November without any alternative.

Roll on the new Godolphin competition we’ll all get our scores together at the beginning of each month to see how we are fairing. This time it’s trickier as you have to factor in those overseas campaigners it’s not all about the UK runners. 😉 Anyway looking forward to it.

    Take care..
    Jac  x

The Pandemic was a dreadful thing and I would never want those days back but what it did do was bring people closer together and make us think about others creating a great Community spirit. I think people have become kinder and more caring since and everyone had to rethink the way they went about their daily lives, like you Moe sitting listening to WH radio presented from a family home and not a cold studio must have been like having your best friends round for dinner to discuss the races over a bottle
of wine 🍷 🍷 (or two!!). :rose: Jac

I didn’t know Arecibo had changed hands until this morning Moe when he came up on my Tracker. At nine years old I was hoping he might have had a nice retirement lined up but not yet.
I wish him well with Declan Carroll’s syndicate.

Darren..I’ve only been to Sandowns once a long time ago and can only remember that the race viewing is very good. I’ll take a look at the runners.
You just have to believe that Flying Honours is better than his last race. :good: Best of luck :good:

I have a cliff horse running in this…
    ARECIBO – 22/1
Running his first race for his new trainer and syndicate. 27 runs without a win now..must be mad but I love this horse. Jac

Shame about Big Gossey Graham, he never seemed interested in getting into the mix today.

Talking about ‘cliff horses’ guess who is running at..
    Musselburgh 6.45 this evening..
    ARECIBO  22/1 EW – 4 Places

He has just changed stables from Robert Cowell to Declan Carroll who has set up a small syndicate just comprising 2 x horses at this moment in time..Arecibo and Whogoesthere who ran 3rd at Southwell for the syndicate recently. It’s run at cost without management fees and has a handful of like minded folk who look as though they really love their horses…I think my lovely boy has found a good home for his latter years and hope he gives them a first win tonight or at least a place.
I think Silkie Wilkie will be the one to beat but if Arecibo is on his ‘A’ game (and he really needs to be after 27 defeats) then he could spring a nice surprise for his new owners. :rose:
I’ll be watching with everything crossed..
He is really well in at the weights for his first run of the season Jac :good:

Wow hold the front page :yahoo:
What a start that was RTB..that was how you were supposed to finish last week..but now you have us playing ‘catch up” again.

Quelle…you have to keep playing the ‘flat’ compy after that double. :good:

Chivers so unlucky with Earls beaten a nose at 11/1 at the Curragh. Nice Nap though. :good:

Broadsword..so glad you enjoyed your day at Newmarket and totally agree about the Viewing. They usually put a big viewing screen up near the winning post but this year it was missing. Going to email the Clerk of the Course about that before the Guineas meeting,(they were asking for feedback), it did make following your horse very difficult until they got close to home.

Hope you comeback another time;though and let me know. :good:

Many thanks Hot Fuss, you’re doing a great job, it’s so nice to take a break and just be a player again. Jac

Son’s price not helped by Pricewise tipping him up today.

I went in with Zoum Zoum who dead heated for 2nd. After Kikkuli won on Tuesday I thought he would run a big race but he found one better.

Well done Kris. Hope you had a good bet on. :good: Jac

Thanks Moe :good: .I recorded the Pet Shop Boys at the BBC evening, they were fantastic and loved the ones which included Dusty Springfield and the one they specially wrote for Liza Minelli’s comeback Broadway Show…has anyone got a more deadpan face than Chris Lowe..lol.. 😅🤣😂

Andre.. I had a fantastic day at Newmarket on Craven Day even though the winners were hard to find, it turned out that a lot of the locally trained horses which I usually follow were needing their first run and there were a lot of ‘fat tummies’ in the parade ring. Richard Hannon Hateem’s trainer certainly has his horses fit and ready apart from Shouldvebeenaring  who I backed in The Abernant against Darren’s flying Washington Heights.

I was disappointed with the bad run of Native Approach in The Craven but I did manage to find two winners and a place on the day which left me with a small loss at the end of the day..but confident I’ll get that back next time. :good: Not really any notebook horses for Thursday (apart from Spycatcher who
will progress from that first run) but I’ll be watching the reruns tomorrow if I get time of the whole 3 days looking for a few clues for next time.. :good:

Managed to get of the mark in Select 3 Horses with my Nap the lovely Hamish coming home…love that horse and noticed he was your first Reserve today Andre so hoping you had a non runner…

Looks like Willie Mullins has nabbed the English Championship from Dan Skelton by winning the Scottish National Andre he’s unstoppable. B-)

Graham that was a terrific run by Spycatcher in The Abernant and as mentioned so many horses needing their first run of the season he looks set to run a big one next time and looked impressive in the parade ring. :good:

Looking forward to the flat season ahead and the new Godolphin competition starting soon.. :good:
Hope everyone is keeping well..Fingers crossed this week has been a good one for us.

Really well done with your win Mike and commiserations to Final Furlong who just got headed at the post. :rose:

Big thank you to Graham for running this and making it so much fun.. :good:

Dark Angels will be back and hopefully manage more than 12th place next time it was a tough competition and some superb tipsters on here…looking forward to it… :good:

Sorry to be so late with the congrats Mike, so many end of comps last week I thought I had already posted. Jac

Hope you enjoyed your day at The Craven Meeting on the Rowley Mile Broadsword.
I didn’t see anyone crying into their beer on course so presume you had a good day. :good:

It was pretty tricky finding winners this year as a lot of the locally trained hopefuls seeemed to need
their first run and ran off with my money on the day, but I did find a couple of short priced winners and
    hope you did too…Jac :good:

    Well done three Naps :good:

Never seen so many going home after the big race…The bookies are looking very happy. Lots of bubbles burst but the main Guineas contenders looking stronger than ever. Have to start saving up
