For some reason , best only known to me ?? when I first looked at this thread I picked up the idea that this may not pan out . I continued to follow your other excellent thread – and am still looking at possible profitable filters , but following  a tip off from another board about this thread , I realise I have missed out big time !<br>If the rules are available I would be grateful by pm , if not , I guess I am not alone in hoping we have an Indian summer and you continue to post

Whilst I am impressed with the results , I have been looking at ways to eliminate the losers , as indeed , I am sure Kersly has .<br>Your comment about betting too short indicates that you may have noticed a weakness or a means of improvement .<br>I am sure I am not alone in hoping that you would be prepared to reciprocate the generosity of Kersly and share your findings with other interested members on this board .

Hi Peter ,<br>I also picked up on this one and likewise made the VDW connection . I seem to remember that this approach would have pre-dated VDW,  and as it seems to highlight "consistent " runners I thought it may have been an inspiration to him .

I have been sorting out selections with a degree of success and would , at this stage , not discount it as a logical process / starting point .

I’m not necessarily a lazy sod , but were you intending to post selections , thus giving me one less job ?;)

Hi Darrell ,

Thanks for posting the selection process ( something that is happening less frequently ) .  Looking accross the boards it is apparent that many systems are treading water . This may be worth a re-visit in more settled times .

Hi Kersly ,

Pleased for you that your system is continuing to do the business and that you are up and running .

I sense that your selection criteria  may have changed a little since we last spoke and would be grateful if you could pm .

A system I have been proofing uses similar information ( Postmark @ Topspeed ) and whilst doing a review for the month , and as it was easy to do , I included your selections for interest . Some of the samples for the month were too small to be indicative , but one set of results that stood out were those of the odds on Novice Chases ( 1/3 , 4/9 , 5/6 , 10/11 , 1/3 , 4/7 , lost , 5/6 , 4/6 , 1/3 , lost , 4/11 , 1/3  6/5 , 4/7 , 1/7 ) . This message nearly got posted 2 days ago , but glad it didn’t as you may have been more inclined to Bonus Bridge , which lost !

You may well have been aware of these results , and if so , hope you didn’t mind me posting .
