Agree with the benefits of a regular Longchamp jockey.

However in respect of Fallon only riding 1 G1 winner since his return, I don’t think that stack up at all. He has not had enough G1 mounts but only has himself to blame for that.

Ryan Moore had not won a classic until he rode an Oaks/Derby double last year (the first jockey to do so since….Mr Fallon!) As the say form is temporary, class is permanent. And Fallon has more class, more experience and a lot more G1 wins and Longchamp experience than Seamie.

I will be delighted if Seamie keeps the ride and wins but talking through my pocket would be pleased if they put Kieran up.

Seamie has not done a thing wrong in his 3 rides on SYT.

However the races he has ridden him in have had 5 & 6 runners. He has little or no experience of Longchamp and the Arc is often a rough affair with many hard luck stories, year on year.

Fallon has the experience and is the man for me, he has shown nerves of steel come the big day, and they don’t get bigger than the this. Hurricane Run, Dylan Thomas, been there, got the t shirt.

They must be tempted despite his foolishness in taking the Recital ride in the Derby when he was already booked.

    Sign him up Coolmore!
