I`m with Rory on this one.
1 You did`nt place the bet yourself
2 your relative went to the wrong firm
3 wrote a non existant price on the slip
4 you are thinking Will Hills price of 20/1 old market should be 18/1 new market not 14/1 but your relative was in wrong shop.
Where would you start with a complaint?
"Dear Magic Sign care of BillHill…"
Learn from the experience and be determined not to make the same mistake in the future.
Some firms are 24/7 and you could have got on the night before. And also Exchanges are waiting with open arms.
A letter of complaint rightly worded will probably get you some goodwill £10 free bet vouchers and some more betting advice.
£150 makes you the most popular guy at the Student union Bar.
Your biggest task may be getting the dosh off your relative especially if they had to stump up the stake money….
Move on and keep putting up these super duper selections.

Many thanks Knockroe I`m just pleased to be off the mark with my first go in the lays and plays.:)
If you pardon the pun… I homed in on Pricewise`s race because he is in such woeful form and often goes against his own past successful formula of looking for the real value by going for the short priced in form likely horse.
Sometimes though, he remembers what he used to do well and mentions one or two value runners other than his selections although today it was the third along with Mark the Man. I`ve backed several of his "also running" at good prices recently and several have made the winners enclosure.
If you read what Tom Segal said about his selection Southern Vic he actually gave a compelling reason not to back it…… :o
So much to choose from today Nad Al Sheba, Gowran Park in addition to our domestic fare. I`m going for two in the big race in Ireland this afternoon the 2.45.
Its Heavy and the going is sure to be tough for the top weights so Homer Wells for Willie Mullins who has won 3 from 8 of these and
Mark the Man coming back from a long lay off must have a chance. Both have form on Heavy and at big prices will give the principles a run for their money.

Executive Paddy and Newham have both been non runners this week, while Certain Justice ran third at the weekend.
I`ve had a week off to recharge my batteries and I`m raring to go again with one or two selections for this thread from todays racing later on.

When I saw the title of the thread Ringaroses and Cheltenham ante post value I assumed you were refering to the lottery/bookies bonanza of laying loads of horses at silly prices and pocketing the money when they dont participate.
Its certainly a merry go round!
