I suggesting that those who pour money into on-line casinos can easily be identified and certainly should be helped. My fear is that all ‘betting’ will be swallowed into a one size fits all regulation.
All parts are now up and have been getting some really positive comments, one of the most popular interviews of recent months.
All three parts are now live.
Point to Point fans will know of Will Biddick, the winning-most rider between the flags ever. In this three part interview he talks about his career and business of breaking and pre-training. https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/bettingpeople-will-biddick/
Hi Paul, nice to see you again! I think that one big draw for cash betting is going to be the negative ‘Big Brother’ aspect of betting via your bank. There are already stories of people getting the ‘Timeform’ squiggle against their names when applying for mortgage, credit etc when it’s seen that they use bookmakers. I really do think that the increased novelty of cash could be a real marketing tool and unique part of a day at the races, alternatively I fear the ring won’t survive if they are forced to go cashless, ultimately a massive blow to racing.
Here’s the latest interview, with professional punter Shane Ciurleo https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/bettingpeople-shane-ciurleo/
Debbie Matthews of #GoRacingGreen https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/bettingpeople-debbie-matthews/
Here’s something I’ve written, prompted by Liam Treadwell’s sad death, it’s very personal but I hope it might help people who are left behind. https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/simon-nott-its-not-your-fault/

January 14, 2020 at 21:49 in reply to: Gambling using credit cards to be banned from April 2020 #1479809Good. If bookmakers consider that their customers inconvenienced by the ban were betting responsibly and within their means using them previously they can open credit accounts for them. Simple.
Thanks for the kind comments, we’ll get as many pro-punters as we can, but so many are camera shy.
