You won’t get these prices now as I’ve not been able to post last night or this morning but..
3:45 – Opening Batsman @ 11/2 – £30 win
3:45 – Barrakilla @ 4/1 – £15 win
3:45 – Gallery Exhibition @ 16/1 – £2.50 each wayBest of luck Seb, and welcome back
Thanks VTC.
Betting should resume tomorrow, the installation guys should be sorting the internet out today so hopeful when I’m home from work I’ll be up and running.
Best of luck Dibble.
Good call with IB Ginge; won it well. I’ve got a win double Baoulet Delaroque/Caged lightning so scared to listen to CL’s race. sebalex; I retired a couple of years ago but have only just got a computer that works properly and a betting account hence my obsession with looking at oddschecker etc throughout the day. Also check out the forums, facebook etc and have W Hill radio on. I, too need to get a life but this is so enjoyable. Lost my first £10 very quickly but for two months my account has remained static; neither winning nor losing much but with the hope that a big win is out there!
Haha! Go steady, keep it fun! My advice would be to stay away from mainstream tipsters (that doesn’t include the folk on here like Ginge and Joni). I tracked the stats of 2 of the most popular HR tipsters and found losses running into the 100’s of pts haha. Be careful chasing the big win! Steady profit with singles is the way forward in my opinion my friend, but of course I wish you luck in finding that big win! We all read about them haha.
All the best fella.
Also, I notice you mentioned a blog. I can design/create the blog for you (or a website if you wanted to pay for a domain). Let me know if you need any help.
Thanks for the offer Sebalex, but my brother works in the computer software business so if I do decide to go down that route already got somewhere to go.
Iron Butterfly.
No worries, great stuff! I thought I’d offer as I’ve just moved up to Chesterfield, 30 miles from my previous so have no friends/life and will have plenty of spare time!
At a canter as well! Another good shout, nicely done.
1:20 Doncaster:
55 points @ 11/4 (Sportsbook) Iron Butterfly* (min 5/2)Another main bet to come in this race, probably tomorrow morning.
2 horse race in my view, especially with that N/R confirmed.
I’m siding more with Iron Butterfly due to stamina, I don’t think 7lb will do too much, he was well handicapped when he easily won that last race, whether or not that was by 7lb remains to be seen. Donna’s Pride is obviously the main threat, but it’ll be sticky ground and I think the safer bet would be with Iron Butterfly. Decent pace over 3 miles aswell so I have no concern that she’ll not have the pace.
What are your thoughts?

Well, a non runner and a loser in that race finished up the total on +£764.80. Not bad, I’ll clean the slate and start again though, as my starting bank this year isn’t going to be quite that much haha.
Starting bank – £300
Doncaster 1:20
Donna’s Pride £25 win @ 11/4 (various) LOST
Iron Butterfly £50 win @ 5/2 (various) WON(£400)
Pleasure is all mine I assure you!
Joni you beautiful man!
Looked at the bank this morning after 2 expensive nights out and thought s#it the bed I’ve spent too much.
Didn’t see much about but I thought I’d trust you with some wonga and I’m glad I did! Excellent shouts mate.
Nottingham 19:10
Sur Empire £20 win @ 4/1 (B365)
Syrian Pearl £10 win @ 7/1 (WH)
(+754.80)
Tenor was a non runner.
Olivia Fallow rattles home from last to first, very impressive pace late on. Also pushed out to 15/2 SP.
(+784.80)
Infact I’m pushing boat out.
Chester 5:25
Olivia Fallow £25 win @ 6/1 (C) Won
Snow Cloud £10 win @ 8/1 (C) Lost(£502.30)
I don’t tend to bet on Saturday’s, too much choice around to find the race you want! I just have a ‘fun’ L15.
However I’ll break that trend today, as Tenor in the 15:10 at York is a mahoosive 33/1?!
Last runs have been poor, though have been on the AW. He is 2lb above his last winning mark, which was a Listed handicap in which he stayed on well to fend off a late surge from Hughes aboard Producer.
Granted the form looks to be somewhat uninspiring of late, but 33/1 in this field? In which in my book, he already has 3 or 4 beaten. I’ve gone with an each way bet on this and it will be the only bet of the day.
Tenor £10 each way @ 33/1 (Various) N/R
Thanks.
Knew I should have placed more confidence in RVR, perhaps this should teach me a lesson. Class run, even when short of room.
(+552.30)
Thanks, guys.
Sandown 3:50
Kastini £10 win @ 10/1 (C) Lost
Rembrandt Van Rijn £20 win @ 4/1 (BV) Won
Chain of Events £5 win @ 14/1 (BV) LostYeeeee’freakin’haww!
Lexington Abbey and Mister Musicmaster do the business! I also had a £3 win on the double, returning £147 but that won’t be added to the profit and loss totals.
Felt even better that the 3:40 panned out how I said it would.
Lexington Abbey went off at 6/1, as did MusicMaster so profit below.
(+487.30)
Theory behind the 15:40.
Guishan will dictate the pace, probably with Yeoow competing for the lead early on. The rest of the runners seem to be mid-division horses and I don’t see much evidence of stayers, or much with a turn of foot. If Guishan is allowed to dictate the pace, I think he could win this one from the front.
More likely however, is the late run of Lexington Abbey, a more hold up horse who could be considered a little out of sorts lately, but races haven’t been ran his way and in this smaller field I think can capitalise on the pace set by Guishan. Hence the bigger bet being with Lexington Abbey with a ‘saver’ if you will on Guishan.
Yeoow could spoil the fun as was quite impressive lto, but I don’t think he warrants 7/2.
