I have actually got some data for this season, split between UR, fell etc, but haven’t had time to finish it – some of the names popping up on Marko’s list seem to be following a similar trend this year . Just a question – I only started it from the jump season ‘proper’ and ignored much of the summer racing. Do you think I would have better info if I backdated it to say May , or is summer jump racing less competitive therefore not worth including. <br>marko did you find much difference between summer and winter statistics?
Does non-completion include pulling up? As the jockey on the poorer class of horse may be more likely to pull up than the jockey who regualy rides the better horses?? Or may ride a better schooled jumper?<br>But at the end of the day it’s the jockeys that get round that are worth backing.<br>Will these stats influence any bodies betting decisions?
