Ardnahoe – 540 Sedge 9-4
Look, some of you on here have the attention span of a gnat. I have recommended 3 bets .
Malekat Jamel – Had races 10 times before, I advised at 13-8, it won at 11-10
Smart Payer – Ran in a maiden, beaten 13 lengths, turned out a week later in a seller, advised at 15-8, it won at 11-10
Stonebrook – Finished 3rd in a bumper in Ireland, won first time out after I recommended it on here weeks in advance. Thats a 100% strike rate and I put them up before the moneys down.
Brick Layer was not recommended as a bet.
Brick Layer was the first unraced horse I have talked about, the due dillegence process was set a high bar, and it was not met. I was very clear on Friday that I would not hesitate to recommend a ‘no bet’ if everything was not right. You all had multiple updates yesterday and should learn from the disiplined approach and the ability to not have a bet. This thread will run until the next big confident bet, which will be very soon.
rich1985. Before I place or recommend a bet I go through a strick due dilligence process, only when the confidence levels are high do I act. If they are not high I do not put money down. If you have followed my threads you will understand that I am an investor and not a gambler. I have no emotion when it comes to putting my money down and thats what seperates me from a mug punter.
No bet today lads. Not saying it wont win but dont have the confidence to put 10k on it, too many unknowns. Good luck if anyone plays today but Im not.
Guys there will another update at 4pm once race times have been reviewed. We are a bit concerned about Charlie Cook as well
Still completing due dilligence, no money down yet.
Its scheduled to rain this morning and need to assess the impact of rain on the ground
Lads, updates will be provided throughout the morning, keep an eye on this thread
None of the horses have raced before and fitness will not be an issue for Brick Layer. Id say its more risky due to the fact none of them have raced and there are some good stables represented. Its still early days, lets see what the weather does and who actuallly turns up. Ill provide an update on confidence nearer the time.
I wont hesitate to recommend ‘no bet’ if I dont think it will win.
I know I have built this horse up but I am no fool and will not back or recommend it to be backed unless I have the usual confidence levels.
Declared at Ludlow on Sunday, McCoy up
Is everyone ready?
Brick Layer being entered up in multiple races, should be out in the next 10 days, you all know what to do.
Quick update. Bick Layer will be out very soon and is working really well with the yards best bumper runners.
All at McCarthy’s irish bar, Lexington, Kentucky will be cheering on David Kielys runner in the Cheltenham bumper today.

wouldnt put anyone off backing him Rich, that bumper run at punchestown which he finished 1/2 length behind Josses Hill (2nd in the Supreme), and which was won by faugheen showes Stonebrooks start potential. I lost info when the ownership changed so dont know how serious they are about today. I know the long term target was the national so you can be sure the step up in trip will suit, good luck if you play.
I like it lads, there will be no blowing this house down
the foundations are in place to fill up the wheelbarrows (thats a clue by the way)
Just had the nod, it goes on Friday, you know what to do. Ill be in touch.
